Founded by Simon J Holmes, a Registered Builder with the Victorian Building Practitioner Board since 2007 and a Master Builder, Holmes Building Services has built a strong reputation for excellence and reliability in the construction industry. With over 25 years of experience, Simon has led the business with integrity, innovation, and a passion for creating high-quality, functional spaces that stand the test of time.
Simon’s journey in the building industry began in 1998, when he completed his apprenticeship to become a qualified Carpenter & Joiner. This hands-on experience provided him with a comprehensive understanding of construction from the ground up, allowing him to seamlessly manage every stage of a project — from structural work to the final finishes.
Simon’s background in carpentry has given him a unique edge in understanding how different trades work together, ensuring smooth collaboration and flawless execution on every job. This knowledge allows him to identify potential challenges before they arise, manage timelines effectively, and deliver exceptional results that exceed client expectations.
Over the years, Simon has worked across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, including heritage restorations, home extensions, custom renovations, and new builds.
